Return Policy
At Valerius, we are committed to offering high-quality and sustainable products. If you find a defect in one of our products, you can request a return within 30 days from the date you received your items.
How to Submit a Return Request:
If you find a defect with your order, please email us at support@thevalerius.com with the following information:
- Order number
- Full name
- Email address
- Returned item(s)
- Reason for the return
- Photos of the returned item(s)
- Preference for refund (store credit or refund to original payment method)
We will process your return request within 2 business days. Once approved, we will provide you with return instructions.
Return Conditions:
- We only accept returns for product defects. Refunds cannot be guaranteed without prior photographic evidence of the issue.
- Items must be unworn and in their original condition with original packaging and tags attached. Items that appear worn, washed, or altered will not qualify for a refund.
- The original shipping cost, if any, is non-refundable in most cases.
- If your return does not meet the requirements, it may be sent back at an additional cost to the customer.
Return Shipping:
- Return shipping costs are not covered by Valerius, and we cannot provide a return shipping label at this time. We suggest using your local post office and choosing a service with tracking.
- Valerius is not responsible for failed delivery attempts caused by customer negligence, including but not limited to refusal of shipment confirmation or incorrect consignee information (such as order address, contact number, or consignee’s name). In such cases, we cannot issue a refund.
Refund:
- Store Credit: This is the fastest option! You will receive store credit within 1 business day after the return package arrives at our warehouse. This credit can be used on any item on our website but cannot be refunded as cash or transferred to another person.
- Original Payment Method: We will initiate the refund within 2 business days after the package arrives. You will receive a receipt confirmation via email once your returned package is processed. Refund time for credit/debit card payments varies depending on your bank. Please allow up to 7 business days for it to appear in your bank account.
Exchanges:
- Unfortunately, we do not offer exchanges at this time. You can place a new order and initiate a return for a refund once we receive the returned package.

What if I’m not sure about sizing? If you have any questions about sizing, our customer service team is here to help! Contact us via social media messages, the chat box on our website, or email (support@thevalerius.com) with the products you're interested in and your measurements. We’ll recommend the best size based on the material and design of the products. You can also check the size the model is wearing on the product description pages.

What counts as a product defect? We conduct thorough quality control checks on every item. Quality issues include but are not limited to: broken, skipped, or missing stitches; significant defects in sizing; open seams; incorrect stitches per inch, etc. Small manual errors such as loose threads that don’t affect the usability of the product may not qualify for a full refund.

Can I return an order that arrived late? While we strive to process and ship orders promptly, many factors in international shipping are beyond our control. As stated in our shipping policy, we cannot guarantee delivery times and cannot provide refunds for late arrivals. In rare cases where processing times are excessively long, we may offer a partial or full refund on a case-by-case basis.

Can I return an item if I simply don’t like it? We are sorry that you are not fully satisfied with your order. As a startup brand, we currently only accept returns for product defects. As we grow, we aim to find sustainable ways to accommodate returns for other reasons. We appreciate your understanding and support as a female and minority-owned startup.
